(May 1, 2017) Registration for the NNI workshop, "Nanosensor Manufacturing: Finding Better Paths to Products," is now open at www.nano.gov/NanosensorManufacturing. This event will be held at the National Science Foundation in Arlington, Virginia, on June 13-14, 2017.
(February 16, 2017) The National Nanotechnology Coordination Office (NNCO) is pleased to announce the winners of this round of Nano Film, a video contest that asks people to talk about nanotechnology.
(January 25, 2017) The National Nanotechnology Initiative (NNI) would like to invite members of the public to cast their votes for the finalist videos in the NNI’s video contest, Nano Film. Voting is open through February 1st. Choose from one of three semifinalists to help pick this season’s winner.

(October 5, 2016) National Nanotechnology Day, a series of events and activities led by the U.S. nanotechnology community, is an annual opportunity to inform the public and stakeholders about nanotechnology and its benefits; the accomplishments of industry, academia, and government in nanotechnology R&D, commercialization, and education; and the future opportunities and promise for nanotechnology.
(July 29, 2016) Today, Federal agencies participating in the National Nanotechnology Initiative (NNI) released a white paper describing the collective Federal vision for the emerging and innovative solutions needed to realize the Nanotechnology-Inspired Grand Challenge for Future Computing.
(June 23, 2016) The National Nanotechnology Coordination Office (NNCO) is pleased to announce the winners of the latest round of EnvisioNano, a nanotechnology image contest for students. Ben Davis and Ryan Hines, members of the Maschmann Lab at the University of Missouri, won for their image Graphene Shows its Stripes. They work on innovative methods to machine nanomaterials like graphene in order to capitalize on the transformative properties of these materials. Congratulations to Ben and Ryan!
(June 6, 2016) Members of the public are invited to vote for the best images in this round of the National Nanotechnology Initiative (NNI) EnvisioNano contest. Now in its third round, this contest has drawn submissions from students at top labs and schools across the United States.
