The 2018 U.S.-EU: Bridging NanoEHS Research Efforts joint workshop will bring together the U.S.- EU nanoEHS Communities of Research (CORs), which serve as a platform for American and European scientists to share information on nanoEHS research. This will be the 7th event in a series of joint nanoEHS workshops organized by the U.S. National Nanotechnology Initiative and the European Commission

Sponsored by the Consumer Product Safety Commission (CPSC) and co-hosted by the U.S. Department of Labor, Occupational Safety and Health Administration (OSHA) and the National Nanotechnology Initiative (NNI).

This webinar supports the goal of the NNI to foster the transfer of new technologies into products for commercial and public benefit. Objectives supporting this goal includes collecting and disseminating information on best practices and fostering the development of robust, scalable nanomanufacturing methods to facilitate commercialization.

This webinar explores the synergies between the research focused on nano environmental health and safety and nanomedicine, and how to leverage the advancements in each of these fields.

This webinar features stories from entrepreneurs that have transitioned their university-backed nanotechnology research through commercialization. Participants will share lessons learned, technological challenges faced, and how their university entrepreneurial ecosystem supported their efforts.

Sustainable Nano is produced by the Center for Sustainable Nanotechnology, a multi-institute chemistry research center funded by the National Science Foundation.
