Call Scheduled for Nano and Emerging Tech Student Network

Date
August 03, 2015

(August 3, 2015) The National Nanotechnology Coordination Office is hosting a teleconference on August 10th for undergraduate students interested in participating in a network of student groups focused on emerging technology, research, and entrepreneurship! Email nanoed@nnco.nano.gov if you want to join the call.

The network will include both existing and new groups.  The leaders of these student groups will come together in an annual conference co-located with the TechConnect World Innovation Conference and Expo.  Students will be involved with the planning of this event to ensure it has maximum benefit to the students, but will likely include targeted sessions with representatives from large corporations, government, and academia as well as entrepreneurs and venture capitalists.  There will also be networking opportunities for students to share best practices and other experiences- it could be a poster session or short presentations.  Let’s discuss!  Please contact nanoed@nnco.nano.gov for more information and to join the conversation.
