Argonne scientists discover how to boost solid-state battery energy density and longevity

Researchers at Argonne National Laboratory improved solid-state battery performance by forming nanoscale lithium halides through “halide segregation,” enhancing lithium-ion movement. The approach could support more practical energy storage applications.
