- Description: Huy Pham, teacher at Westminster High School in California, will share a nanotechnology lesson plan he developed for his biology classroom titled “Biotoxicity: AntiMicrobial Properties of Silver Nanoparticles.” Through this lesson, biology students test various forms of silver with yeast and sugar and observe its effects using a manometer. Mr. Pham will also discuss his experience participating in the Nanoscience Workshop for Teachers at the California NanoSystems Institute.
