About NanoBCA’s Annual Conference

The NanoBCA’s annual NanoBusiness Conference brings together its extensive network of leading start-ups, Fortune 500 companies, research institutions, non-governmental organizations (NGOs), and public-private partnerships as well as business leaders, investors, venture capitalists, scientists, engineers, government officials and visionaries who are driving the nanotechnology revolution. The conference typically spans over two days and explore a broad range of issues relating to nanotechnology, investing, commercialization, economic development, and global opportunities. The conference features comprehensive corporate presentations, in-depth panels, executive keynotes, educational sessions, and networking opportunities.

Uniqueness of the NanoBCA conference: The NanoBusiness Conference is the oldest and most perennially successful business and finance oriented nanotech conference in the U.S. The conference has served as a world-class forum for member companies seeking to showcase their products and technologies.

The conference offers:

  • Unparalleled Networking:  Our conference attracts hundreds of business leaders, investors, venture capitalists, analysts, scientists, and government officials. Attendees and speakers are typically “C-Level” Officers, Partners, Directors, and Division Heads – the key decision-makers and strategists for of the participating organizations. By gathering these key players under one roof, our annual conference becomes the most efficient and effective forum for finding and initiating business deals, as well as developing meaningful new relationships. Past corporate keynote speakers for our conferences have included the Chief Technology Officers of Lockheed Martin, Texas Instruments, and DuPont, as well as Executives Vice Presidents of GE, Proctor & Gamble, Pfizer, Motorola, and FEI. Other notable keynote addresses include high profile investors, such as Steve Jurvetson of Draper Fisher Jurvetson and billionaire investor Wilbur L. Ross Jr.
  • Prime Media Coverage: Our Annual Conference is hosted in world-renowned cities for capital investment (New York), technology development and innovation (Boston), and political debates (Washington, D.C.), consistently attracting the attention of the business media. The Conference has received extensive onsite coverage from CNBC, as well as press coverage from the Wall Street Journal, Business 2.0, and the New York Times. On one occasion, select members were invited to ring the closing bell of the NASDAQ stock exchange as industry representatives.
  • Commercialization Focused Agenda: We focus on showcasing products and applications, as well as discussing the challenges and solutions to commercializing nanotechnology. Rather than highly technical presentations, our conference features executives discussing their businesses, the commercial potential of their technologies, the markets they are addressing, and the strategies they have found successful.
