About the Event: This webinar will introduce basic nanoinformatics concepts to non-specialists and is supported by Federal agencies participating in the Nanotechnology Knowledge Infrastructure (NKI) Signature Initiative. Specific topics to be covered include a summary of basic nanoinformatics concepts, a discussion of the benefits and applications of informatics, and an overview of the NKI NSI.
About the Panelists: Panelists include Mark Hoover (Senior Scientist at the National Institute for Occupational Safety and Health), Christina Liu (Program Director at the NCI Office of Cancer Nanotechnology Research), Robert Hanisch (Director of NIST's Office of Data and Informatics), and Daryl Hess (Program Director in the Division of Materials Research at NSF).
