Nanomaterials and Human Health & Instrumentation, Metrology, and Analytical Methods

November 17, 2009 - December 29, 2010

From February 2009 to March 2010, the NSET Subcommittee sponsored a four-part series of EHS workshops to solicit stakeholder input on the NNI's 2008 Strategy for Nanotechnology-Related Environmental, Health, and Safety Research.

The Nanomaterials and Human Health & Instrumentation, Metrology, and Analytical Methods workshop was the third of the series. Workshop participants contribued to the dialogue and future course of some of the most crucial scientific questions of the day through

  • lively discussions probed the state of the science for nanotechnology
  • identifying priority gaps and emerging trends in nanotechnology health and safety research
  • commenting on the NNI's 2008 EHS Research Strategy

The workshop was attended by researchers and decision makers in the fields of Nanomaterials & Human Health or Instrumentation, Metrology, and Analytical Methods as they relate to the needs of Nanomaterials & Human Health research.
